Six hundred and ninety two children want to learn how to read and write.

Residing in the remotest parts of the towns of San Luis, Lapaz and Esperanza in the province of Agusan del Sur, and from Impasug-ong and San Fernando of Bukidnon where schools are not present, illiteracy and poverty are perennial problems of the communities where they live.

Fifty-two (52) participants composed of nuns, parateachers and supervisors of RMP-NMR literacy and numeracy schools undergo 'Orientation Workshop on the Monitoring & Reporting Mechanism (MRM) on Grave Child Rights Violations in Situations of Armed Conflict' on 22-25 May 2012 held at the Monastery of Transfiguration in San Jose, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.
